Beverly put up a courageous fight against cancer. After her husband Howard passed, she put herself through Nursing School and held down a fulltime job, all while raising five children. She worked herself up the ranks at OSU Medical Center until she reached the top working as House Supervisor of Nursing. Along the way she was recognized with many awards and commendations.
In her 38 years of nursing many were helped by her. She served at work as well as at home. She could give a look that would scare the bravest. Ask any of our friends that knew her and was caught with one of her kids being at the wrong place and at the wrong time. This is what earned her the name Bad Bev. Her bark was a lot worse than her bite. However, once one got to know her, they came to love her.
Our world will not be the same without her undying love for us. To us there will never be a better provider, friend, or mother. RIP Mamma.
