Bobbie Jo Hill-Wilkins, age 85 of Tulsa passed from this life Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in Sand Springs.
A celebration of life service will be Saturday, 10:00 a.m., February 1, 2020 at Easton Heights Baptist Church in Tulsa with Reverend Perry Cox officiating. Bobbie Jo will be laid to rest at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.
Bobbie Jo was born on December 23, 1934 in Tulsa to James Hermer and Jerdie Beatrice Juanita (Carter) Hill. She graduated from Central High School class of 1953 and began working as a ten key Operator. Bobbie married David Wilkins on July 24, 1954 in Tulsa and the couple made their home in the Tulsa area where they lived in the same house for over sixty-one years. Bobbie later worked for various doctors’ offices in the Tulsa area as an Office Coordinator. David passed away May 8, 2019. She loved sewing, quilting, cake decorating, flower arranging, trips to Branson with the grandkids and helping in the church. She had been a member at Glenwood Baptist, Broadway Baptist and later Easton Heights Baptist.
She is survived by her two daughters; Tobye and husband Robert of Sand Springs, Paula and husband Oscar of Claremore, a son; Stan Wilkins and wife Teresa of Beaufort, Missouri, nine grandchildren; Aaron and wife Trisha, Joel, Nathanael and wife Courtney, Timothy, Katelyn and husband Seth, Bryce, Grant, Candis and husband Josh and Gabbe. Also surviving Bobbie are seven Great-grandchildren with another on the way.
Bobbie was preceded in death her parents; husband, David Wilkins; a daughter, Robin Wilkins, 8 brothers, 3 sisters, granny Wilson and grandma Irene.
